SAFETY & TERMS · VERSION 2026-10-26.1

Workout safety, assumption of risk and limited release

These terms are presented to members for separate, explicit acceptance. Reading this page alone does not record acceptance.

1. Parties and scope This agreement is between Jared Friedman, the individual operating Training (also previously called FORGE), and you, the adult account holder named in your acceptance receipt. In exchange for access to the workout planning tools, you agree to the following terms for your voluntary participation in workouts provided through Training after acceptance. This is separate from the confidentiality agreement. It does not apply retroactively to earlier injuries or claims. 2. General fitness education, not medical care Training provides general fitness education and planning tools for adults 18 and older. Plans, suggested loads, progressions, health filters, written cues and videos are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation prescriptions or individualized clearance to exercise. Training cannot assess your movement, health, equipment or surroundings. Neither an available workout nor a warning establishes that an exercise is suitable for you. The app's programming has not received individualized approval from a physician, physical therapist or qualified coach. 3. Your choices and safety responsibilities Provide accurate, current information and follow your treating clinician's restrictions. Before beginning or changing a program, consult a qualified healthcare professional if you have an injury, health condition, recent surgery, pregnancy or postpartum concerns, symptoms during activity, or uncertainty about what is appropriate. Get qualified in-person instruction for unfamiliar or technical movements. Choose manageable loads, pace and range of motion; warm up and progress gradually. Inspect equipment, anchors and surroundings, follow equipment instructions, and use appropriate safety supports or a spotter. You may reduce, replace, skip or stop an exercise at any time. A schedule or target date is not a reason to rush progression. Stop for pain, dizziness or new or worsening symptoms. Chest pain, fainting, severe difficulty breathing or sudden weakness can require emergency care; call your local emergency number. Do not continue until appropriate professional advice permits it. The app does not monitor emergencies. 4. Voluntary assumption of exercise risks Exercise involves risks including muscle and tendon strains, sprains, falls, dropped weights, equipment failure, overuse injuries, aggravation of existing conditions, cardiovascular events, serious injury, disability and death. These risks can occur even when instructions are followed. You understand these risks and voluntarily choose whether and how to participate. Nothing in this agreement guarantees safety or makes you responsible for conduct that applicable law does not permit you to assume. 5. LIMITED RELEASE OF ORDINARY-NEGLIGENCE CLAIMS To the extent permitted by applicable law, you release Jared Friedman, operating Training, and employees or agents acting within their Training roles from claims for personal injury, death or property damage arising from your voluntary participation in workouts provided through Training, including claims caused by their ordinary negligence in providing exercise information or workout programming. This provision affects legal rights; review it carefully before agreeing. This release DOES NOT cover gross negligence, recklessness, willful or wanton misconduct, intentional wrongdoing, or any liability or rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived. Mandatory consumer protections remain. Enforceability depends on applicable law and the circumstances. Nothing here prevents a claim that cannot lawfully be waived or guarantees that every claim is barred. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply only to the extent lawful. 6. Demonstrations, references and results External videos identify their publishers and remain under those publishers' control. A reference or link does not mean that its publisher sponsors Training or designed, reviewed or approved its plans. Training's exercise selection, scheduling and progression are separate from the linked demonstrations. Follow your own prescribed targets and clinician restrictions, not an example video's loads or repetitions. Demonstrations and written or artificial-intelligence-generated content may contain errors and cannot assess your personal form. Outcomes vary; no particular result or injury-free experience is promised. Content credits do not transfer copyright or permission to redistribute it. 7. Acceptance, records and future changes By entering your name and selecting the acknowledgments, you confirm that you are at least 18, have read the safety information and limited release, and intend to sign electronically. Do not accept if you do not agree; you can leave and export existing records without signing. Your name, account identity, email, server acceptance time, exact terms, version and document hash are stored as an agreement receipt accessible to you and the operator. Agreement receipts are kept separately from workout and health records, including after account deletion for documenting agreements and resolving legal claims, subject to applicable retention and privacy rights. You can download your signed receipt. Material changes require a new version and fresh acceptance; prior receipts are preserved.
